I have always been very enthusiastic about learning and always find myself helping others to discover a deeper understanding of a subject. During my time tutoring math, I discovered that there is a necessary balance to allow the student time to process the material without allowing them to get frustrated and giving up. I believe in stretching their mind while providing support to the necessary skills to accomplish the goal at hand. I do great with children. Teaching, in some form, has been a part of my life for the last 20 years. During that time I discovered for myself that students learn in different ways. As a student at Kansas State University, I am currently enrolled in the Architectural Engineering degree and I am completing my last math class as of now. I believe I would be a great candidate for this position because I have recently taken the three calculus classes and now differential equations. Also, i have an extensive background in different fields of physics which broadens of the everyday use of math as well.
From past experience I have learned that everyone has a specific way of learning and therefore you must accompany to that.
