I have been teaching for 12 years. I began teaching after graduating from the University of Berkeley with a Bachelors in Sociology. I taught Reading, Math, and Social Studies as a regular education teacher until 2005. In 2005 I began to teach special education students, and this is currently where I teach. I use a comprehensive homeschool curriculum with progress monitoring reports, and my lessons are interactive and designed to meet the needs of each student. I was a dedicated student throughout high school and college. I earned my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. I know work as a systems engineer performing mission analysis on guidance, navigation, and control aspects of rocket systems. I also mentor a FIRST robotics high school team. I first find out your true objective for learning the material. Is it a requirement and not in your field of study so you just want to pass the class or is this a part of your passion or career and really want to know the nuts and bolts of the subject.
