I am an English major at the University of South Carolina Beaufort in my final semester of study and will be graduating in December with a BA and a concentration in writing. Though I have never formally been a tutor, I have always been the person that my friends have gone to for help with composing papers, interpreting and analyzing passages of literature, and general study skills for how to improve their writing and/or reading abilities. I have been a camp counselor, tutor, coach and teacher. I have taught English in Ghana, preschool in Argentina and special education in the Bronx. I seem to have worked in the education field from the very beginning. I started out in preschools, and most recently have been teaching at the college level. I have taught every age in between. I am very skilled at not only grammar, but also the elements of composition.
