The vast majority of my experience has been obtained throughout my time in college and my willingness to help fellow students and/or friends in a variety of studies. I am blessed to have attended a college that prepared me for real world situations and classroom circumstances. I have achieved two bachelor's degrees, a BS in bible and a BS in elementary education. I have also achieved a master's in holistic education. These degree programs provided me with a grasp of all subject areas in the elementary portion of schooling. I have also had the pleasure of tutoring many athletes at both the college and middle school level. I have tutored in subjects ranging from math and science to history and literature.

The teaching style that brings the best success I've found is centered on two points. First of all, it is based on listening, which means getting the student to talk. Eventually, with guidance, I aim to get them the ability to talk through and solve any problem. The second major technique I like to use is analogies. Even complicated subjects can be simplified into their core components which are easy to understand if taught as an analogy to something more familiar in daily life. Just as the Bible uses parables or employers use phrases from team sports to explain team roles, I find lots of success by using analogies.
