My teaching style is interactive, many of my former students would characterize it as "coaching". I always empower the student to find their way and to have them become "pros" in the learning process. I do not do the work for them, but I show them how they can make their tasks and finishing them more efficient. I am a firm believer in the philosophy that edication is not preparation for life, it is life itself. Experience is key. Over 13 years of working with students that were not scholars initially. After learning skills to improve their educational/learning experience, they became more scholarly, and enjoyed learning. This is key. I would explain to the students the rule of grammar in French and the rule of mathematics, set up some problems for them to resolve and this way they have a very good understanding of the subjects and able to perform on the subject independently. I had volunteered my time to tutored some kids in my neighborhood. This was the time while i was in college. I have tutored the subject of Math 8th grade level and Math in the second grade level.
