I enjoy teaching and enjoy sharing my knowledge with everyone. Everyone can learn and I believe some learn different than others. I believe in patience and different teaching styles. For some, hands-on techniques works better while for others, a traditional learning style along with dedication may suffice. Whatever the approach may be, a supportive and fun atmosphere helps enhance the learning experience.
As a graduate student earning a Master's degree, I have always worked very hard. In high school, I graduated with honors and throughout the journey of both degrees, I have always maintained at least a 3.5 GPA. I have always excelled in math. I enjoy reading and I would like to have an opportunity to shine that light on everyone through tutoring. I have tutored friends and family members for quite some time and I am currently tutoring.

In December 2008, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University. In addition, I have also earned certification in Early Childhood Education (P-5). Last Spring, I was a substitute teacher for PreK-5th grade classes. I have worked with children in the public school system for thirty-four years as a classroom teacher, Title I augmented reading teacher and as a media specialist. Largely due to my years experience as a reading teacher my class of inner city children scored in the top one percentile on the Georgia Criterion Reference Test(GA CRCT) in Reading.
