My comments on tutoring Speaking : I have been teaching basic skills (reading, writing, oral communication) for 30 years. I have tutored high school and college students, as well as political candidates, with regard to public speaking. I have served as a speech writer on several occasions, for politicians and college presidents. I am patient and understanding.

I have been teaching college (History, Philosophy, Ethics, writing, reading, social studies) since the early 1980's. I have taught in New York (LaGuardia Community College), Connectiuct (Three Rivers Community College), New Jersey (Mercer County Community College) and Pennsylvania (Bucks County and Montgomery County Community Colleges and ). I began tutoring K through 5th graders at an elementary school. Many of my students only spoke Spanish at home. From then, I continued tutoring elementary school students with a wide range of abilities. A few of my students were gifted, and we worked on sharpening their already existing skills.
