I have a very unique teaching style in that I like to incorporate many different presentation methods and I am a firm believer of teaching to multiple intelligences. No two students learn the same way and if the student is not learning the teacher is just as responsible as the student. This being said I have used many different teaching methods from having the students performing, and singing to setting up shops to buy and sell products. If one method did not reach some of the students, I would go out of my way to create a lesson that involved these particular students. As a graduate student at Immaculata University, I have learned what it means to be an effective teacher. I will be student-teaching 11th and 12th grade English at Renaissance Academy in the fall.
