While I was in high school, I took honors courses and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I tutored an 8th grade-9th grade boy in TCAPS preparation and helped him complete homework in Math (pre-algebra, algebra, and pre-geometry), Science (biology), and English. I tutored him for two years. After I graduated high school I was accepted to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I am currently in the spring semester of my sophomore year. I will be returning to Johnson City this summer and am available to tutor. A Little Bit About Me...

After finishing my Bachelor of Arts in English, I decided to teach English as a Second Language in China. I enjoyed my time there but returned home after a year to be closer to my family. The bulk of my classroom experience comes from teaching high school English in Charlotte, North Carolina. I spent five years teaching at Dore Academy, and I learned a great deal about teaching and tutoring students with a wide range of abilities. I then decided to once again teach abroad.
