Making Learning Fun and Easy!

My teaching style is to move at the students pace - however slowly or quickly that may be. I don't mind being asked the same questions. In fact, I believe that there is no such thing as a bad question, and that a student should ask a question as many times as s/he feels it is necessary to do so.

I am a college student who has been at the top of my class since I was in the sixth grade. I have taken the highest level of classes that has needed to be taken. I am a logical thinker and I am willing to solve anything that I come across. When I was in middle school, I attended a book competition, where I had to read several books and then answer various questions about them. When I was in high school I attended many math competition, and I was also enrolled in FBLA. I am now in college where I am taking criminal justice classes to further my career in law. Children can understand visually, verbally or in written form. Each child has different ways of understanding a particular subject and it is important to find out how the child wants to be tutored very early. My style is to have a candid discussion with the child in order to ascertain why the child is having problems with a particular subject and how that child expects to be able to be taught. Tutoring a child supports regular teaching and that is the serivce I can provide. I can do it at th child's home or any other location suggested by the child's parents.
