I am able to teach children of all ages and also am able to tailor my teaching style to the age I am teaching. Through encouragement and pointing in the correct direction instead of just giving an answer, I believe that the student learns best. Because I know all students learn at in different ways and at different paces, I am very patient in helping the student discover how best they learn and encourage them not to get upset if they do not “get it” right away. It believe it is my duty to help them not only get good grades but also to try and relate the subject being tutored into their lives.
As a teacher for six years and a physical therapy aide for one, I believe I have very good teaching skills. My teaching follows the experiential learning paradigm with a focus on utilizing the student’s inherent creative skills in order to relate information and pursue skill attainment and enhancement.
