A Little Bit About Me...

Since finishing my degree and teaching credential progam I have been teaching full time for the last 12 years. I was a tenured teacher in Atascadero teaching all subjects 3-8 from 1998-2001. I am currently teaching in Paso Robles and have been since 2001. I have taught at Flamson Middle School and now teach at Liberty Continuation High School. I primarily teach English and computers but have a Multiple Subject Credential and can easily teach Prealgebra.
I love what I do for a living. I love teaching and coaching and have always wanted to be a teacher. I believe all childeren can learn given the opportunity. I believe students have their own unique intelligences and learning styles. In college, I was taught to organize topics in Math, Science and English, using outlines. This ensured that I studied all of the material presented in class. During my career, I use the same method to grasp difficult concepts. As a technical advisor, I shared my knowledge with clients, answering questions and solving problems. I have always been driven to learn and pursue and education, this led me to completing my bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in history from UC- San Diego. I enjoyed tutoring math, science and english while in high school and continued in college.
