I have tutored children in mathematics from the ages 6-15. I was also asked by one of my professors to begin a tutoring session for a pre-calculus/trigonometry course that I was enrolled in. At that time I was scheduling tutor sessions with college students to obtain the proper study habits for polynomial expressions, quadratic equations , and exponential functions. I like to have one on one tutoring sessions free from any distractions in order for the student to pay more attention. I try to find videos and tutorials that may better help demonstrate how to work problems on top of how I teach it myself. I tutored college math for two years while I was attending community college. I normally helped athletes prepare for a test, help with online homework, and assess their knowledge by providing other problems for them to work out and check behind them. I also tutored man in the math section of the ASVAB back in the summer of 2012.
