I have recently graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor of Science and teacher certification degree. I student taught during the fall '09 semester. Student teaching provided many opportunities to work on various teaching techniques. The student teaching semester consisted of; leading the class in discussion on a daily basis, creating worksheets, conducting lab experiments and other activities, grading homework and tests, and much more. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is very student friendly. I engage the student in working out easy examples, which provide an illustration of fundamentals. Part of my process is to "walk through" an example with the student, showing them a process to solve a given problem. I then assign a problem for them to work out. This resembles a test-like environment where the student can figure out what he/she does not understand.
As a MSU graduate, I have experience in math up to linear algebra and abstract algebra. This includes calc 1,2, and 3 as well as differential equations. I also have taught at Michigan State University's Champ program, which is where I tutored algebra and geometry to advanced high school students. Being currently enrolled in one of the Top 20 schools in the state of Michigan, learning is something that comes to me as second nature.
