I've had more than 15 years of experince in teaching college-level Math courses ranging from Intermediate Algebra to Differential Equations and Real Analysis. I also have been tutoring students in different levels of Math for about 13 years. Presently, I'm an Assistant Professor at a small local University. After college graduation in 2006, I subsitute taught for a year in Pennsylvania for a year before moving to Maryland to persue a permanent teaching career. I taught technology education in grades 6-8 before moving to West Virginia to start a family. My degree is in the field of technology education, but I also hold an additional certification in middle school math. I feel confident in my abilities to tutor math of all ages, as well as physics classes. I believe every child learns differently, and that the presentation of information must vary on a constant basis. I have earned two bachelor degrees from West Virginia University Institute of Technology, a BS in Mathematics and a BS in Computer Science. Most of my work experience is in computer science research, but I do have roughly a year of official experience tutoring in the computer lab and the math tutorial lab at WVU Institute of Technology.
