I graduated magna cum laude from Drury University, a private liberal arts college, in 1987, with a major in fine arts (photography and graphic design emphasis) and minor in communications (four years experience on the college newspaper). Over the last 4-6 years I've had to teach coworkers the intricacies of engine technology (basic hydrocarbon breakdown and nitrogen depleting systems) to basic geometry and electrical circuits ( from creating concentric bends in pipe to large scale automated systems). I realize that learning reading and writing skills can be difficult. When I teach young people, I work to push each person patiently but constantly to improve with each lesson.
