A Little Bit About Me...

I have a lot of experience tutoring elementary children, ages 6-11. I have a bit of experience teaching middle schoolers and high schoolers, though not as much as elementary. I am currently an Education major with a minor in history. I am also considering a degree in music and English. Generally I tutor in reading and writing. I have some in science but I'm much more in the creative arts field. Helping children get a love for learning is very important to me and I can't wait to help anyone willing to learn.

A Little Bit About Me...

I absolutely love teaching and especially enjoy working with upper level students, although I love working with children as well. I believe every student has been given unique gifts and talents, but needs others to help them discover those abilities. As a teacher, I don't expect all my students to be "math geniuses" because their talents may be in a different field, but I do expect all my students to excel in what they do and give their all. A Little Bit About Me...

I got my first teaching experience as a lab instructor for undergraduate physics labs and fell in love with the profession. The best part of the experience is seeing the student grasp a concept that they felt out of reach. I enjoy coming up with inventive ways of communicating the difficult portions of math and science. Most of my students benefited from my teaching style which includes many examples and encourages a dialogue approach to difficult concepts.
