I am a 2012 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Chemistry and concentration in Biochemistry. I have worked as a TA for the sophomore Principles of Biology (II) course as well as the Organic Chemistry Laboratory Course. I have been a tutor & academic mentor for Organic Chemistry since the summer of 2010. If they can touch and experience what they are learning, they are much more likely to remember the key concepts they are being taught. Students also need to be shown how what they are teaching relates to the real world.
