Early Childhood Education Major Experienced in Tutoring

I have experience in tutoring and small group instruction in elementary regular ed, inclusion, and special education classrooms (including speech). Throughout my undergraduate, I have had many hours of field in experience in 2nd grade regular ed and inclusion classrooms and elementary special ed and inclusion, including speech. I have lead small group instruction in varying subjects, assisted in reading and reading comprehension, test prep, and study skills.
I believe in structured education while leaving plenty of room to facilitate learning through creativity and exploration. A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children. I have taught Sunday School classes at various age levels. I believe that each child is different and learns in his/her own way on his/her own time-table; therefore, I work with each child differently depending on their needs. I try to teach in a way that the child can understand and grasp the concepts of grammar, writing, and reading.
I graduated with a Bachelor's in English from Troy University Dothan in December 2009. Since I opted for a Bachelor's in English rather than a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education, I took more writing and literature classes. I love to see the glimmer in students' eyes when they understand information and make the necessary connections.
