Early Childhood Education Major Experienced in Tutoring

I believe in structured education while leaving plenty of room to facilitate learning through creativity and exploration. I firmly believe in meeting a student where they are academically, socially, and emotionally by adjusting my teaching style to best fit their learning needs. I was driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education based on my own families background and my own. Because I was overlooked it gave me the desire to help those that seemed mostlikely to not succeed. I earned a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education while working full time and being a full time mom. I went on to earn my Masters in Education and Psychology/Counseling. For the past 15 years I have taught in Public schools as well as Private schools.In addition, I have taught at a local Technical College. For the past year I have tutored students in grades 6-9.
