A Little Bit About Me...

For the past several years I have owned a run my own Grant Writing Company. I specialized in the teaching and the mentoring of my clients in the Grant application process. I worked hand-in hand with them in preparing the detailed paperwork. I aided them in so as they were able to shape their business proposal so that it would fit the necessary criteria to recieve various grants. I am an accomplished writer, public speaker and independent business owner.
I first must one hundred percent become knowledgeable and comfortable with the material I will be teaching. I enjoy being able to personalize myself not only with the work but the students as well. A Little Bit About Me...

As a highschool student I took an early interest in helping to educate my peers. I worked in several different classrooms to help individuals needing additional instruction in reading and math. As a college student I began to narrow my focus and realize my love of teaching English as a Second Language. I had several different student ranging from Mexicans living in the area, Moldovan, Taiwanese, and Chinsese whom I helped in reading, writing, vocabulary and basic conversation. A Little Bit About Me...

After living in Spain and learning Spanish as a teenager, I accelerated quickly in the Spanish language and literature program, later going on into the Master's program. I earned my first teaching credential in California where I taught for several years before moving to Missouri.
I believe the best learning occurs when both a discrete point and holistic approach are used interactively. I like to break down the concepts into small steps which then fit together into a well-designed staircase leading up to the higher levels. I am exigent in my expectations, but relaxed and patient in my personal nature.
