I use a variety of methods such as graphically (visual), practice examples (tactile, repetition), repeating the rules/methods (aural) and occasional humor to help things stick! I recently moved here from California. I have tutored fellow students in high school in Rhode Island, a child, grandchildren, and also tutored folks in California ranging in age from 13-30 in all types of math during the last ten years. Though I do not have a certificate, I plan on getting a temporary certificate in the next few months.

I am hands on teaching and want the students to understand what each part feels like on a computer. I have worked many jobs and I want to dip my feet into to tutoring to see what it is like to help teach people about Computer Technology. I currently have 15 years of experience learning French. I began learning French in kindergarten and my time spent abroad and in college has greatly aided my knowledge of the French language.I have been on three exchanges to Amiens, France and two study abroad trips. The first was to Biarritz, France and the second was to Tours, France. I have been tutoring since September of 2017 but before that I would help friends regularly. Usually one on one but groups can work too. I focus a lot on vocabulary and sentence structure because I feel it is just as important to be able to express yourself in a language, not just order a coffee or ask for directions.
