I am proficient in tutoring English and any Language Arts area. I am also a journalist in my career, and would love to help anyone who is needing a little push. I am a mother to a 1st grader and my husband attends law school. I am very active in Lubbock ISD and am room mom for my daughter's class. I am also a contributing writer in my spare time. I first ask questions to get familiar with my students teaching style and their problem areas and what they're struggling with. I recently earned my Masters Degree in curriculum and instruction in Literacy. I have obtained certification with that degree a Master Reading Teacher and Reading Specialist.
