Experience Summary
I am proficient in tutoring English and any Language Arts area. I am also a journalist in my career, and would love to help anyone who is needing a little push. I am a mother to a 1st grader and my husband attends law school. I am very active in Lubbock ISD and am room mom for my daughter's class. I am also a contributing writer in my spare time.
Teaching Style
I first ask questions to get familiar with my students teaching style and their problem areas and what they're struggling with. I am very visual so any time I can explain something using a picture, etc, I do. I am very patient and understanding.
My Hobbies
I lover attending my gym/group power class, writing, reading, watching TV with my daughter, going to the park, cooking
