I possess 10+ years of experience in the field of school psychology. My current dual Florida certification includes the instructor of Foreign Languages (K-12 Spanish) credential. I pursued direct hands-on experience as an instructor of non-traditional (GED for under 18, adult, and bilingual) students and as a college level adjunct professor. In the latter position I was trained as a distance-learning instructor. Literally all my life I have been asked by students, parents and teachers to help students who were having trouble. I get tremendous fulfillment from watching someone who has been frustrated finally "get it." In addition to teaching music lessons, tutoring all subjects, and homeschooling my own two children, I have worked for the last 17 years with a private school. With a degree in Special Education and a Masters in Education I have learned about how children learn best. I have a Florida Teacher's License for teaching ESE (Exceptional Students Education), Spanish, Elementary Education, and other subjects. I taught in the Ocala public school system. I have terrific math skills and have taught all core courses to ESE students. I have helped older students prepare for their GED exam as well. Currently I teach Spanish online.
