I have always been interested in teaching others, in particular, teaching children with special needs. The majority of my experience teaching is teaching children with special needs including many children with autism. The school of Education in North Carolina prepared me well. I am above all flexible. My license reads K-8 and I have taught Art K-6 for a year, Second Grade for two years in NC. Then in 2001 I taught Title One reading in TN for a year then Fourth grade for three more years. My family moved to Northern VA and I taught Fifth grade there for two years before moving back to TN for a year where I taught 8th grade Algebra, and 7th grade English.
