I've been told I have a great capacity for making complex ideas more understandable. This is why students seeking Math help at my University would ask for me specifically, I can take a complicated concept and explain it in a way that makes it seem much simpler, and when one approach doesn't work, I go again from a different direction. A Little Bit About Me...

When I first started college, I had no idea what to major in. I started taking creative writing and literature classes though, and found my niche in English. I enjoy writing, reading, proofreading, checking grammar and punctuation, and find myself reviewing billboards and magazines for errors. I've been able to put these skills to actual use as an instructor, tutor, and advisor for college students. I have taught Business Writing, Business Communication, and Keyboarding classes. I have also had a great deal of experience with public speaking and have played piano for more than 20 years. English and education have been a passion of mine for my entire life. My undergraduate experience at the University of Minnesota Morris exacerbated this characteristic.
