I led a semester long Beacon tutoring supplement course in Organic Chemistry that supported 20 junior college students. I have effectively tutored/mentored a number of high school students in general education coursework, organizational skills, and in preparation for exit examinations. I have conducted community based math group sessions for junior high and high school students. Even before I went to college and earned my B.A., I had already taught two years of ESL in Kachin State, Burma. I came back to the US and earned my degree in East Asian Studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
