My comments on tutoring Elementary Phonics : After an initial assessment, lessons start with the student's weakest area and progress from there.

I have been teaching in a public school in the Sugar Land area for 27 years. For the past 10 years, I have taught both regular education and GT students in the English Language Arts block. Many of my former students were waived ESL intermediate students whose grasp of reading and writing grew within the time spent in my class. Having taught for more than five years as a certified teacher, I feel that I have what it takes to be an educator.
