I have BS degrees in education and industrial engineering. I also have an MS Teachers in Geosciences. I have worked for much of my career as an engineer but have also taught earth science at the high school level for two years in the recent past. I have great enthusiasm for the world we live in and the study of earth science. I look forward to working one on one with students that are having difficulty and helping them make the grade.

I have been on the National Dean's List as well as the Dean's list for my college, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in everything I do. I have my bachelor degree, BS in Chemistry, As well as an associates in Graphic Design. I have gained an understanding in many areas of math and science and spacial concepts. During the last three years I have tutored students in English, chemistry, the arts, history, and sciences.

My goal is to help your child achieve success. I explain real-life applications of the subject (i.e., metric system--repair of foreign cars.) I encourage questions and dialogue. I use praise when warranted but am firm on deadlines and honesty. Aware of attention span, I take appropriate breaks or switch to another subject. I remind him to read and follow directions and to check his work over before he hands it in. A Little Bit About Me...

After studying medicine for 3 years in college I decided that I wanted to be a teacher. I was lucky enough to land a job where I taught both science and Math.I was a teacher for 3 years. I taught Algebra, Precalculus, Chemistry and Biology at the high school level.
I loved my time in the classroom helping children to love learning both math and science. I believe that all children can love those subjects although many find them difficult. It takes a patient person who loves to teach and learn themselves to teach the difficult processes of Math and science and that person is me.
