I have experience teaching and assisting children in Elementary School. I also have a BS degree in Biology and would love to tutor. I had a 3.0 GPA Undergraduate. I have worked in laboratories for the preious four years using my Biology degree in the Biomedical Field. I also worked as a Sitter in a hospital for a short time where I cared for disabled patients. I wasn't able to use my teaching skills but my caring and patient attitude helped with the position.

I believe teaching is more than just showing how to solve a problem, but is helping the student to discover the “bigger picture”. For that reason, I ask a lot of questions to ensure that a student is not just learning by rote, but understands a topic within its larger context. After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work.
