In 2009, I graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor degree in Classics with a minor in Art History. During my senior year, I was the primary Latin instructor for a 7 year old home schooled student. I developed a curriculum for a full year's worth of classes as well as designed learning activities to instruct in the Roman culture in addition to Latin.
I believe that each student has the ability to learn and understand material as long as they are taught the right tools to harness their potential. I am patient with each student, allowing them to learn at their own pace. My teaching style allows my student to feel comfortable and confident to use the learning tools I supply. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a firm believer that the science subjects are not as difficult as many students are afraid they are. In my past tutoring experiences I like to allow the student to explain to me in their terms their understanding of the subject. I then fill in the gaps or revise their understanding. I am very patient and easy going person. I love the sciences. Helping someone to understand and seeing the glint in their eyes when they finally get it is why I love tutoring.
I am a graduate of Virginia Tech with a BS in Biology with a concentration in microbiology. I also have minors in leadership and Chemistry. Therefore my understanding of the sciences and basic mathematics is quite extensive.
