Study Skills is one of my top subjects! Nobody likes to study, but there are several different ways to develop study skills. I lacked in study skills at a young age and learned to develop them and I can give aid to develop others.

I like to help students discover the solutions and answers on their own. I am here to help guide them in the right direction not to provide the answer.
I spent the last several years preparing to become a teacher and have enjoyed every bit of it. I have spent time in the classroom, varying from 4th grade and up not only in math classes, which I will be teaching, but others as well. Although it was not necessary to get a Minor in Education to become a teacher, I decided that it would be in my best interest to gain as much knowledge on different teaching styles and approaches to developing my own classroom environment. I generally try to remain as friendly as possible with the tutee so that he/she can relax and learn in a comfortable environment. I work on a first-name basis and try to make sure that the student is LEARNING, rather than merely finishing his/her homework. I teach using a Platonic method, asking prodding questions and getting the tutee to figure out the material him/herself.
