A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style really depends on the person I am working with. People learn different ways. It is important to identify what works best for the person. For example, some people may learn through discussion, while others may need to see pictures or presentations of the subject matter. I like to identify how the person learns first through questions, or by testing them with a simple task first to identify the method which seems to work best for them. Once this has been identified, training can begin.
I have both a bachelors degree and masters degree in business administration/management. Both of these degrees have given me a high level of knowledge in many areas such as finance, accounting, math in general, writing, and presentations/projects. I worked full time and part time while obtaining my BA from Troy State University while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I have been on the Board of Directors for Girls Inc. for the past 4 years and volunteer my time with them.
