I utilize a variety of teaching styles in order to fit individual student learning styles, and I design lessons with creativity and a focus on real life applications. I have taught English and Composition for over twenty years at the junior high, high school, and college level. I have been a private instructor of guitar and music theory for over 5 years. I have taught as a native speaker of English in Korea over a year. I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a degree in English and a minor in professional writing. I also worked as a tutor at the University's Writing Center for two and a half years, where I assisted college students in writing and editing their papers. My education has given me a good understanding of how to interpret literature and write articulate, grammatically correct papers, and my tutoring experience has provided me with the necessary tools to impart my knowledge to others.
