I love teaching students of all ages and abilities. I was born in the Soviet Union. At age of twelve start participating in School’s orchestra. After finishing High school I was admitted to Kiev’s Glier musical College, which I finished with distinction, and get Bachelors degree as a clarinet and saxophone player, as well as conductor of brass bands. I was a teacher in musical school and a leader in numerous small jazz bands. A Little Bit About Me...

As a student who has dabbled in so many areas, it is easy for me to assess when a teacher/professor is not explaining a concept in a method that helps the students. I have previous experience tutoring, but my teaching talent comes from my role as the unofficial tutor for most of my classes. I can see why students are missing the concept and I am creative enough to devise new approaches.

A Little Bit About Me...

With a BA in communications and a minor in sociology, I have an understanding in many subject areas such as, english, history, speech and media. As a graduate student I have extensive experience in writing papers and doing extensive research. I have worked as a newsroom researcher in the past. I am currently working on my graduate Thesis as well. I have experience in teaching students in elementary school up to the college level. At Long Island University I have worked as a graduate assistant, and a Tutor. I also have experience in working with students in after school programs.
