Special Education is one of my top subjects! I have been a special education teacher for 15 years and a special education administrator for 5 years. I have worked with students that have struggle severely with learning. I am very patient and will try many techniques until children learn in their style of learning. I believe the key is to help children find the way that they learn best so they can then use that method to make learning easier moving forward.

Special Education Teacher/Reading Specialist

An example of this is: I started working, for 600 hrs (pull-out and push-in) a week, with a 2nd grade student at the end of January 2007. When I began working with him, he could only read 13 words. By the end of May, he knew 49 words

Certified Teacher Looking To Help Others As A Tutor

I have a wide variety of educational experience and have recently crossed over into the realm of education as a Special Education/At-Risk teacher with the Edgerton School District.
