Special Education Teacher/Reading Specialist

An example of this is: I started working, for 600 hrs (pull-out and push-in) a week, with a 2nd grade student at the end of January 2007. When I began working with him, he could only read 13 words. Special Education is one of my top subjects! I have been a special education teacher for 15 years and a special education administrator for 5 years. I have worked with students that have struggle severely with learning. I am very patient and will try many techniques until children learn in their style of learning. I believe the key is to help children find the way that they learn best so they can then use that method to make learning easier moving forward.

My comments on tutoring Special Education : I am a Special Education teacher and teach and live in Evanston.

Teaching as a SPED teacher, both inclusion, instructional for all grades, Kindergarten through 12th grade.
