A Little Bit About Me...

During my years at undergraduate study I tutored mathematics and physics even though most were graduate students. At the same college I was also a laboratory assistant for College Chemistry 1 and 2. A good portion of my other position was working at the Drake Memorial library where I assisted both student and teachers with finding resource materials. At the Worldlife Institute Education center at Waterport, NY I was a voluntary teacher for high school students. In working in the heating and air conditioning industry my experience in teaching has enabled me in training fellow technicians and mentoring new recruits and employees.

As a freshman forensic chemistry undergraduate student I was tested out of the general chemsirty courses offered at York College. This being the case I needed to find a way to keep chemistry fresh in my mind till the higher level courses were available to me. A professor suggested that I become a lab assistant for the general chemistry classes. This job included preparing all necessary chemicals as well as working closely with the students and faculty. I helped tutor students in both the lab and classroom. I remained a lab assistant for all four years of my college career and helped train many new lab assistants who were also students.
