They were told they would be videotaped & critiqued by their class members..BUT their presentation would be on their military specialty (eg. a Motor Pool SGT would do a class on vehicle maintenance)..thereby increasing the "comfort level" of the presenter & enhancing the knowledge of the class. The students would be taught to affirm each other & give each other positive "feed-back". I taught for 9 yrs at the 1159 US Army Reserve Forces School.
