I have tutored before, I am currently tutoring kids at my high school everyday in the subject in which they need help in. My goal in tutoring is to not only to have the child succeed in the course but to understand the concept of the course. My style of teaching is different for each child, because everyone does not learn the same way. Some people are visual learners and with them I focus on teaching them with pictures. Others are audible learners in which with these I focus on teaching with songs. My main reason for tutoring is to make learning fun!

Writing Skills is one of my top subjects! Although I am not especially trained to teach writing. I have been writing for a large portion of my life and I graduated high school taking all honors English classes. I have also taken College English and am currently enrolled in a college creative writing class at Stanly Community college. I have written many stories, poems and songs and writing just comes naturally to me. I would love to help anyone find joy in writing as well as success.

The way I teach depends on the needs of the student. I personally learn by being show and then doing something while someone stands there to make sure I do it correctly until I can do it on my own. I can use visual strategies, repetition, games, songs, rhymes, whatever it takes to make sure I am clear and understood. I was always a slow learner when it came to certain subjects so I understand the frustration a child, or student can experience when a teacher is impatient or they just cant seem to get it right no matter what.
