A Little Bit About Me...

During the past four years of my undergraduate study, I have been given many opportunities to work and explore outside of my degree in piano performance. I was able to take a class about working with exceptional learners. Outside of the classroom, I have had the opportunity to counsel children with special needs during summer programs and a winter ski program. I have also had the opportunity to work as a one-on-one aide for a child in a public school summer program. I was more of an instructor than a teacher. I was a day camp counselor at Solway House parent/child resort in Saugerties N.Y. I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught music and guitar since I was 20 years old. I continued to teach guitar throughout college where I double majored in Political Science and Theology and minored in philosophy. My grammatical skills are excellent as I currently write for two different publications on the internet. My educational career was full of challenges that have given me a broad basis of knowledge for tutoring. In high school, I earned the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. I subsequently earned a BS in Ceramic Engineering and an MBA in Operations Management.
