A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my life I have been tutoring and teaching my peers. In elementary through high school, teachers would ask me to take time to explain one-on-one the coursework with my classmates. In college I naturally became the go-to person for help with coursework. My official experience, however, did not come until I was in graduate school. There I taught laboratory sections in animal and dairy science as well as tutored my classmates after hours. There is nothing that I enjoy more than figuring out how to convey information in such a way that my pupil will begin to really understand what they are doing and even be able to explain it back to me. The greatest benefit of teaching, to me, is seeing the look in a child's eyes when he or she finally reaches that understanding of what you are teaching them.
