I teach lessons tailored to the individual student's needs. I use a variety of books and my own supplemental materials, and also include listening in lessons. In every lesson I focus on warm ups, technique, sight reading, and performance repertoire. I am very open to having the student bring in songs they want to learn or work on specific things they are interested in. I always try to make the lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible, as well as educational.
I have been teaching private music lessons for over 3 years and have taught many students ages 5 through adult. I teach saxophone to the advanced level and beginning piano and clarinet.
