Every child can learn, just not in the same way!

I love hands on teaching through games and centers. Keeping students engaged is my top priority. Due to the recent happenings in the world, I am offering online tutoring for the time being. Special Education is one of my top subjects! I taught 5th and 6th grade special education in both the self-contained and in-class support classroom for 12 years. When I was laid off, I had always wanted to try teaching and I loved it. I love working with kids (I also coach baseball and football), I really get a kick out of passing my knowledge onto them and seeing their face when it sinks in.
Math to me is like a puzzle... if you can imagine the pieces in your mind, fitting them together in practice is so much easier.
