Experience Summary
I have recently retired . I have been an RN for 38 years and have worked in almost every department in the hospital as well as several out of the hospital positions. I love to teach students and new nurses and have preceptor many. I plan on going back to work at a clinic a few days a week but still would like to work with new nurses/students. I have a BSN from the University of Tampa. ACLS certified - multiple years of practical experience.
Teaching Style
I have always been able to explain even the most difficult topics in nursing and put them into every day situations in order to make them easier to understand and put into practice.
My Hobbies
I love to play golf and still read medical articles as well as medical journals.
Other Comments
I am a very patient person and get very excited when the person I am working with finally “gets it”.
