Experience Summary
Hi!I am Ismail and I am currently completing my Ph.D in Mathematics at Caltech. I have being tutoring students for more than 10 years. I have also been a TA for several mathematics courses throughout my academic journey since 2015.
I have a strong background in pure mathematics but I also understand physics and can help with that as well (double-major in mathematics and physics). I always enjoy it when I can effectively explain mathematical concepts that appear complicated a priori.

Teaching Style
My very down to earth way of explaining mathematics makes everything clear and concise. I have tutored students who went from hating mathematics courses to performing very well in exams. My grasp of Probability, Linear Algebra and Calculus is very strong since I have been TA-ing these courses regularly since 2015. I have an iPad and an Apple pen! So we can definitely do online tutoring and I have an effective way of doing that so I am sure you will enjoy that experience if you choose online tutoring
