Professional, enthusiastic elementary teacher with over 5 years teaching experience in the classroom setting! I have experience working with a variety of ages/grades in both general and special education. I have worked with and incorporated strategies for students with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and much more. ESL learners welcome too! I have experience teaching ESL students from a variety of home languages. I also have a Masters in Education focusing in on trauma education and social-emotional learning . I am well versed in IEP's, FBA's and creating individualized behavior plans. I also have experience with students in need of mild to intensive behavioral supports.-
I have over 3-years of professional tutoring experience both in-person and remote. Helping others succeed is my passion! Not only can I provide a great tutoring experience, but I also will create materials and additional supports that can be used outside of tutoring sessions. I tailor my materials and expertise to the needs of each student based on observations and information provided. I always aim to provide clear and consistent feedback to both the student and family. I will collect and analyze learning data to keep track of improvements and overall success of set goals. I am here for your success!
My teaching style, whether in-person or remote, will include a variety of methods. This includes but is not limited to hands-on learning, lecture, guided models, educational games, and interactive videos. Again, I aim to tailor myself to each individual student’s needs while also aiming to incorporate many different learning strategies to deepen learning and provide lasting success.
