Experience Summary
I am currently a Sophomore at Northeastern University's College of Engineering, where I plan to receive a B.S and M.S in civil and environmental engineering with a minor in mathematics. My father is a teacher, and has taught me tutoring protocol. I have volunteered with families in my hometown to tutor elementary school and middle school students in a variety of subjects including mathematics and english/language arts. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with kids in educational settings, including tutoring elementary school students, participating in storybook readings at my local library, or introducing Boston public school students to the field of engineering at my current university. I have also worked with kids in the robotics field, and taught them basic computer programming.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is mostly up to the client! I am very easy going and flexible, and can work with students in a variety of subjects that are displayed on my profile. I can aid them in solving their homework worksheets, answer any questions that are prepared before hand, or take the time to teach them material that they are unsure about!
