From elementary school to high school and beyond, my passion is to help students at all grade levels excel academically. For over twenty years now, I have been a creative and effective tutor with Master's Degree in Physics from USC and years of experience working with students of all ages. Together with the help of the students and their parents, I work to develop academic goals and milestones for each student, implement lesson plans at varying academic levels, provide constructive feedback, and foster confidence in the academic abilities of each student. My teaching methods are highly successful with my personal tutoring philosophy being that a student should have a deep and thorough understanding of the material - not merely just know how to get the correct answer. That way, they can become self-reliant and use their knowledge to solve new and challenging problems on their own. I also specialize in prepping students for ACT, SAT, GRE, English, and college admissions. From various question types, tricks commonly used in distractor answers, and how students can improve their pacing - I know the SAT and ACT inside and out. Home school students are also near and dear to my heart and as home schooling continues to increase in popularity, many families find comfort in having a tutor step in as a full-time academic manager, providing structure, guidance, and accountability as the student completes coursework. In my free time, I love to go on hikes with my dogs, play volleyball, read, and go surfing at the beach! If you are a student or parent who needs academic help or guidance – get in touch with me and let’s put you on the path to success!
